Come Make Awesome Games

The Game Co-Op is an entirely volunteer project, and as such, we know that we can’t demand a lot of your time. To that end, we only ask for 5-10 hours of commitment per week, maximum.

At the end of the day, we want to put a hobby-level of time in it, so you can still do your paying job, job hunt, socialize, play games, and just be you!

So, please check out the open positions we have below. You’ll find a button at the bottom that links to our application form.

Art Producer/Team Manager

We’re looking for an Art Producer/Team Manager to help organize and support our art team. Working under the Art Lead, this role involves coordinating artists, managing workflows, setting realistic deadlines, and ensuring assets move smoothly through the pipeline.

Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as you’ll be responsible for keeping the team aligned, motivated, and on track. If you have experience managing creative teams in a game development setting, please throw in your application!

3D Artists

As part of our art team, you’ll contribute to building detailed 3D environments, props, and assets that define the look and feel of our game. Whether your strengths lie in modeling, texturing, or rigging, there’s a place for you here.

Technical Artists

If you’re passionate about turning artistic vision into functional in-game visuals, this role is for you. You’ll focus on developing shaders, exploring visual effects, and helping implement the project’s art style within the engine. A strong understanding of how to bring stylized visuals to life through technical solutions is key.

Experience with Godot is useful but not required—we’re happy to support you as you grow into the role.

Concept Artists

We are looking for talented concept artists to help define the visual identity of our projects. Specifically, we need artists with a focus on environmental concept art to design detailed interiors, modular structures, and functional spaces that bring our sci-fi setting to life.

If you have experience creating architectural designs, hard-surface concepts, or industrial environments for games, we’d love to have you on board!

Game Designers

We’re looking for game designers to help develop engaging puzzle content and contribute to the overall gameplay experience. While your main focus will be on designing puzzles, you’ll also support the development of other mechanics and interactive systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys collaboration and iteration within a narrative-focused framework.

Organizational Comms/Internal Community Management

As our organization continues to grow, maintaining clear and consistent communication across teams has become increasingly challenging. We are seeking a skilled organizational communicator to ensure that all team members stay informed and aligned.

This role will be responsible for keeping teams updated on key developments, fostering engagement, and supporting internal morale and motivation as we move forward.

Godot Programmer

We are looking for someone with experience in Godot to help bridge gaps in our team’s knowledge of the engine. While we don’t require extensive expertise, we’d love to have you on board if you have at least 6–12 months of regular hands-on experience with Godot.

Writers

As a narratively-driven game, narrative is the cornerstone of the game. As such, we’re looking for writers to help create characters, write dialogue and story bits, manuals, and other forms of environmental storytelling.

Editors

Making sure everything written has the right tone and maintains consistency with the lore is important. As such, editors will review written content to proofread grammar and spelling, double-check tone, and ensure things written stay within the world’s lore.

Editors will also help maintain and build up our internal Wiki.
